At Alma Acupuncture I provide quality health care; to improve the overall well being of each person.  However, patients’ needs vary, therefore my primary goal is to provide patients with individualized care for their individual needs.  I work with each patient in order to formulate a wellness plan that includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, and/or nutritional/food therapy in order to promote physical and emotional well-being. Acupuncture has a cumulative effect on the body, and these treatments produce results.

I am a holistic licensed acupuncturist, Nationally Certified Chinese Herbalist (NCCAOM), serving Central San Antonio and surrounding areas.  My BA is in Education and I still enjoy teaching others.  While still passionate about teaching I now enjoy teaching others about their health and reaching their wellness potential. I received a Master’s degree in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine at Austin, Texas. I have 7 years of experience treating patients for a variety of illnesses including stress/anxiety, women’s health, IVF/IUI support, fertility support, immune support, airborne/food allergies, alleviating cancer treatment side effects and other chronic/ acute ailments.  I also have specialized experience treating women’s fertility issues from interning/working at Texas Center of Reproductive Acupuncture in Central Austin. I am also a fellow of A.B.O.R.M. (American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine.)  I have knowledge and skills from working with people in recovery from addiction at The Right Step in Spicewood, Texas.

My style of treating holistically is on the whole person and not just a symptom or condition.  I am dedicated to building a relationship with each patient to better create a renewal of wellness within each person.
